Let's protect our public property

Public property are the things that belong to all of us in general.

Most of our people have not realized the value of public property. Misusing public property has become a national detect of the world.

Libraries are very important public property. But it's very sad to say most of the people are in the habit of removing pages from the library books. Some people scribble filthy words on library books.

Public transportation system is another very important public property. But many cut the seat covers or scribble on seat covers while traveling in the bus. Sometimes they do this to show their playfulness. Sometimes they do this to show their anger. Sometimes they do this to show their frustration or boredom. Think how neglectful the people are? They don't have any sense of public property.

Public property are not the property that belongs to us. In government offices, some officers use telephones to give nuisance calls. They never think that it a waste of public funds. Maintaining the public property is the duty and responsibility of every one.

Awareness programmes should be implemented in order to make the people aware of the importance of protection the public property.

In the mean time the government should take necessary steps to impose the taught laws against vandals. Other people have to suffer because of this antisocial behavior.

As good citizen, it is our duty to use the public property carefully just like our own eye.
